This set of photos was taken at the Nyhavn Harbor in Copenhagen of the colorful buildings in the canal. Reflection of the colorful houses created a feel of impressionist painting. Some people misunderstand impressionist paintings as painters painting based on their own subjective "impressions". In fact, it is exactly the opposite! "Impressionism" is the painting school that most pursues the reality seen with the eyes! Monet strived to make the light and shadow shown in the landscape in his paintings absolutely consistent with reality. In order to complete a painting, he only went to the scene to paint at a fixed time every day, so that the light and shade in the painting could be completely unified with reality.  I could imagine that the Impressionist painters would see the light and shadow in the real world changing rapidly in this setting. In order to increase the speed of painting, they would use fine and broken brushstrokes to paint, forming a unique hazy and fuzzy painting style, which is also the name of "Impressionism".
